Description

Active dogs need lots of exercise, so that they can develop adequate. If you let him pull the dog scooter or mountain bike so you have a great physical activity - a new trend called bikejoring or dog scootering. Sometimes you can get into difiicult situations where you have to solve your dog off the leash fast. In this case, a Panic Snap is the solution. This security seal, where the tow line is directly attached, can be opened in an emergency even under heavy tension load. It´s like the security bond of skis that opens in a crash, so the skis can do no harm.

Works absolutely reliable in emergency situations

You can make good use of this panic release while joring. The Panic Snap is fastened with a strap on your bike or scooter that couples the tow line to the fork of the bike and works absolutely reliable in emergency situations. Within a second, the dog is exempt. It is made of high quality stainless steel to withstand loads up to 450 kg and the PES band serves as a sloop for mounting on the fork. Use this important utensil to minimize any risk of injury when bikejoring or dog scootering. The weight of the Panic Snap is only 88g (3.1 oz). The entire Panic Snap has a length of 28 cm (11 in) and is suitable for mounting on the headset or head tube. There was no explanation included.
I was wondering how I fix the pull line.
And how does the towline with the supplied ring get through the suspension of the towline guide of the Graffiti Bike antenna? Too thick! (Posted on 9/16/2018)

I have 2 of them, one on the bike and one on the skijoring belt.
Works great !!!
Even in frost and slush and mud.
It is important that the line slides well off the hook, I guarantee this with a metal ring at the end of the line.

Something else :
I have received fantastic online advice on all products. The purchase process was excellent, a return (a test harness) was highly satisfactory.

Great stuff, that makes Bikejoring even more fun! Triggers reliably and is robust, have another one that is not as stable as the one from Woofshack; Very clear recommendation! (Posted on 9/28/2017)

First of all I have to thank you for the very good advice in the chat. This was really very helpful.

Works great for biking.

Could be a little longer. Can't attach it to the frame because the frame is too thick and the line is too short. I would have to tie it to the handlebars because my stem is too short for that.

Nevertheless recommendable. (Posted on 9/11/2017)

The Panic Snap works great! For size there is only one point deduction, because it just fits the bike exactly (but it fits). (Posted on 3/27/2017)

The Panic Snap was recommended to me by Woofshack and although I hesitated at first, I am glad I bought it afterwards. It is a very useful and important accessory when you put your dog in front of a bicycle or something similar. I wouldn't drive without it. The service at Woofshack is perfect! I would shop there again anytime.

I really have my problems with the Panic Snap. Here too, as with the antenna, is not optimal for every bike. I have to think about something else so that I can make it suitable for my bike, while maintaining its functionality.

Good product, provides security. The rip cord is a bit short, but it is no problem to extend it to your own needs. I hope I don't have to "trigger" the panic snap so often, grin!
